New York, NY: NewspaperDirect, the leading innovator in out-of-market newspaper delivery, announced today that Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) will be offering the NewspaperDirect service, which provides same-day newspapers printed onboard, across the entire fleet.
Provided in partnership with Maritime Telecommunications Network, guests on NCL vessels can now receive same-day editions of their favorite newspapers, including USA TODAY, New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Times of London, Le Monde, and el Nuevo Herald.
"Providing NCL with our service across their fleet is continued proof of the acceptance of our service", said Miljenko Horvat, President and CEO, NewspaperDirect. "Now, combined with our chain-wide rollout at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, we believe that the ND service has become a must-have service in the hospitality industry—much like CNN is today."
"We look forward to delivering OceanNews and other exciting, emerging technologies to our customers," states David Kagan, Chief Executive Officer of MTN. "Now, reading the morning news can be a part of the cruise ship experience and NCL's guests can stay in touch with local, national and international news, wherever they are."
NCL is the innovative developer of Freestyle Cruising, the most creative and unique cruise experience, which provides passengers with extensive freedom of choice. Whether you are dining, enriching your mind or body, or just relaxing, NCL has created a world of options. Guests can choose their style of cuisine, manner of dress, meal times and settings, tailoring the cruise experience to fit them.
"Through Freestyle Cruising, Norwegian Cruise Line offers passengers the same amenities they would find at five-star land-based resorts, and offering current issues of USA Today and The Wall Street Journal everyday illustrates this," said Colin Veitch, President and Chief Executive Officer of Norwegian Cruise Line. "We're proud to partner with MTN to bring our passengers this exciting new service."
