'WSJ Europe' Launches Electronic Edition

New YorkThe Wall Street Journal Europe, based in Brussels, today launched the electronic replica of its print edition, available at the PressDisplay.com Web site of NewspaperDirect, Vancouver, British Columbia. PressDisplay.com provides users with immediate same-day access to hundreds of newspapers from around the world.

"The Wall Street Journal Europe has for the past six years seen its print-on-demand sales grow consistently through cooperation with NewspaperDirect," the edition's circulation marketing director, Rick Zedni, said ina statement. "Extending this cooperation into PressDisplay.com is consistent with our continued drive to deliver our content to readers whenever or wherever they need it," he added.

The PressDisplay.com digital publishing platform enables publishers to reach readers through digital and networking solutions. It further enhances readership by allowing readers to instantly translate content into one of 10 foreign languages.

SmartNavigation features within PressDisplay.com provide a traditional two-page newspaper view, table of contents, article jumps (linking article sections), and easy-to-read text views.

Last October, The Wall Street Journal Europe changed to a compact format as part of an integrated print and online business-information solution. Its content (including selected The Washington Post articles) also is available in various formats, including mobile telephones, BlackBerry devices, MP3 players and in WiFi areas.
